stakeholders by June 2022. That would give interested stakeholders time for feedback prior to the 2023 legislative session.
While it was encouraging to bring stakeholders together (one of the stated purposes of the Damage Prevention Summit), there is still much work to
be done. Prior to the mid-year goal of June 2022, the next Arkansas Damage Prevention Summit will have convened again. Attendees can expect an even more focused agenda outlining the need for accountability through effective enforcement.
You can expect more articles in the
811 Magazine promoting the need for enforcement for all utilities and a
look at surrounding states who have already successfully implemented such programs.
We look forward to developing the 2022 Damage Prevention Summit agenda. We hope to see you there. In the meantime, you can count on the Arkansas
