2022 Arkansas Damage Prevention Summit Wows Attendees!
Attendees raved about this year’s sessions. “It just
seemed like the sessions were specifically targeted toward Arkansas issues,” said one attendee. Well, in fact, that’s the goal of every Summit in Arkansas. Whether the issue is lack of enforcement for the state’s
dig law, the frustrations of locating untonable facilities, why cities are leaning toward permits to work within their jurisdiction or the Department
of Labor’s presentation on OSHA violations and working safely, the topics were most definitely Arkansas focused.
It is apparent that much frustration exists in the state and for a variety
of reasons. To have a platform to discuss these issues openly is the first step toward resolution. The Summit team believes that if the status quo
isn’t working, the only real option is meaningful change. That is the focus
of the Summit. So, when an attendee remarks, “I look forward to the Summit because it reminds me that somebody cares about us out in the field,” it should remind all of us how important
